Wondering what to wear? Please wear comfortable, loose clothing so you can bend and stretch easily.
In my classes, we work on balance, strength and flexibility while building endurance and improving breath and posture. The style of yoga that I practice and teach, called Iyengar Yoga, uses props to help you find your balance and alignment in each pose. We use mats, towels, blocks, blankets, straps, bolsters (big pillows) and even chairs to make yoga possible for everyone. I travel with enough props for 10 students. If you have your own mat, please bring it with you. If you have a big bath towel, please bring it with you to class as well.
